Commercial Manager, Dose Fin

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a modern facility for dose dispensing of medicines. You will be responsible for the commercial areas of the dose brand ANJA at the dose production unit Pharmaservice which is part of the Oriola Group. The tasks include several areas where you will be responsible for the development of our customers service offering of dose. You will play a key role in monitoring the internal and external environments to drive relevant business events and development goals. You will be part of driving the continued development of dose in Finland where we see an exciting future the coming years.

This permanent position is located in Herttoniemi, Helsinki, Finland.

Your main responsibilities are:

  • Responsible of new customer onboarding processes (definition of the process and development of the process)
  • Key user for customer faced IT systems used for ordering, prescription handling etc
  • Implement BU strategic goals / initiatives aligned with action plan and strategy
  • Development of customer offering of dose operations in Finland to all customers together with other functions and BA:s
  • Proactively work to maximize earnings per customer, through analysis and driving sales.
  • Management of internal and external projects related to dose dispensing operations
  • Assortment management to maximize gross margins and actively identifying new opportunities. Participate in supplier negotiation projects together with Group’s strategic sourcing function
  • Follow-up and assess changes in pharmaceutical regulation and proactively evaluate potential implications to dose operations and to assortment choices
  • Leadership responsibility of financial assistant in close cooperation with group finance
  • Proactively monitor the internal and external business environment through media, contacts with the applicable authorities and participation in relevant business events for development purposes.

You work as part of a Service Category Dose and collaborate actively e.g. with sales functions, strategic sourcing, supply chain, finance and logistics functions. You report to Head of Service Category, Dose.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • 3-5 years’ experience of work in similar, senior-level business positions. Successful commercial lead experience with P/L responsibility minimum of 3 years.
  • Previous leadership experience and coaching approach supporting in the role.
  • Understanding of Finnish pharmacy market considered as a strong advantage.
  • Experience in successful project management and understanding of modern project management methods and tools.
  • Either Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics or Pharmacy. Or this knowledge gained from other education or work experience.

  • Analytical and structured way of working
  • Fluent in English and Finnish language, Swedish is an asset.
